This Junghans Chronoscope model has a rich black glossy dial. The dial makes full use of Max Bill’s specially designed Arabic numerals which, like the hour and minute hands, are painted with luminescent Super Luminova. Pressing the upper pusher starts and stops the chronograph, the lower pusher resets. A twin aperture at 3 o’clock displays the day of the week and date and there is quick adjustment for the calendar indications via the crown.
