Cambridge Imprint is a small paper-making business in Cambridge, England, designing and printing patterned paper. It is known for beautiful colours, joyful illustration and typography, a lively, hand-drawn aesthetic, and meticulous attention to detail. Using simple hand-stencilled screen-printing to create original designs, Cambridge Imprint employ spot-colour lithography to replicate the studio process in manufacturing the final paper product. Never again will you be satisfied with one of those feeble tissue paper hats that comes out of a cracker. Some minimal assembly is required, and this allows the crown to be adjusted to the size of the wearer’s head. Scissors and either glue or tape will be required and are not included. Made in England from 90 gsm matte, uncoated responsibly sourced paper, printed with vegetable oil-based ink in hand-mixed colours. There is no glue, plastic or metal in the paperchain itself or the packaging: the entire product is fully biodegradable and recyclable.
