With a gentle design of alternating pale pink and blue stripes, contrasting dots in bright green plus decorative floral relief details and rosy cheeks, the Candle Holders are a superb contemporary interpretation of Scandinavian folk art - a throwback to Wiinblad's original work. Using the artist's own drawings for the gentle facial features and even the pattern on the dress design, there is an authenticity and a nostalgia about these pieces which makes them so very likeable.
