### Handsewn Stitchdown Construction

The hand-sewn stitchdown construction type is the lynchpin of White´s history, a process passed down from bootmaker to bootmaker since the beginning, way back in 1853\. When hand-sewing a boot, the master bootmakers painstakingly last, welt, and bottom it by hand. Hand-lasting ensures a customized fit, hand-welting a durable and water-resistant seam, and hand bottoming an all-leather arch that becomes more comfortable by the day.

### MP Last

The MP Last is a true dress shoe last with a long pedigree and a classic silhouette. Used exclusively in the lifestyle collection, the MP boasts a refined profile based on the legendary Barrie last, with a flatter arch, a shallow toe-box, and a wide ball-area, which provides an elegant balance to the traditional block dress heel. Despite the relatively low arch, White´s still accommodated a thick, all leather shank to provide their trademark comfort. You won’t find a more comfortable dress shoe on the market.
