**Construction:** All boots are produced by craftsmen who have decades of shoemaking experience and in some cases third generation shoemakers. These boots are hand-lasted using old-world techniques and with the best components sourced across the world. The upper leather is made with US hides that are 6.5-7oz thick. An industry first pre-molded leather insole is used. The insole is full grain veg tanned leather, 5 – 5.5 millimeters thick and precisely molded to the bottom of the last.

**The** **Leather:** Developed exclusively for Drew's Boots, the hides are from the US and tanned and processed in the Leather Capital of the World: Leon, Mexico. The tanning process is similar to Horween Chrome Excel or Seidel Double Shot, as the leather has a great pull up effect, re-tanned and then double stuffed with natural oils and waxes to give this leather a great look and soft feel to the foot without compromising wear and durability. This leather is 2.5-2.8mm in thickness. The color is beautiful and will pair with anything and still tough enough for the job site. This leather is called "Rogue" because it looks brown-ish, red-ish, burgundy-ish and couldn't settle on a true color name!

**The last:** Drew's took the 55 shoe last used in the PNW boot industry for decades and made it better. With boots on the ground and listening to their customers for years, they knew there was a better way. The natural progression of people have been getting bigger and wider feet - so they added about an 0,3 cm to the outside of the last to allow more room in the toe box and eliminate that "pinkie rub.(D+ width) Also Drew's raised the instep slightly to allow an easier foot entry into the boot. With the fit alterations to the last and the pre-molded insole, these boots will be the best and easiest break-in of the industry.

**Pre-molded insole:** Each insole is individually molded to the exact size and width over a period of 48 hours. The molding process does not compress the insole or change its thickness, but _significantly_ reduces the break in period and increases comfort out of the box. Over time, the insole will mold to the foot and the natural imprint will enhance comfort even more while still providing arch support with minimal break in.

**Sizing:** These are not true to size. Please size down one size from regular size. Is slightly larger than Red Wing, Wesco, Wolverine etc. So if you are f.ex. an US10 in these, you could go for a 9.5 in Drew’s

**Guts of the boot:** Veg tanned leather toe box (no plastic or elastic), leather heel counter, shank and heel base.

**Details:** One piece backstay / pull loop, scored midsole to place shank and nails precisely on each pair of boots, Drew´s use a high-pressure hydraulic press plus a press pad which is the exact negative of the Vibram 430 outsole to get an extreme bond to reduce squeaking and delamination.

**The contractor series** has the same upper design and pattern as the Drew's Loggers but in shorter heights and built with Vibram 430 Mini Lug soles for more versatility on the job site, hitting the town with your spouse or for style without dragging in the mud!

**Drew’s Boots began in 1918 in Klamath Falls, Oregon**, when N.B. Drew began selling fire and western boots to logging and firefighting camps in the region. Today, Drew’s is based in Eugene, Oregon, and supply the best boots out of the West. Drew’s knows quality boots for all occasions--from the toughest boots for the hardest jobs to handmade, custom Westerns for the well-dressed rancher, farmer, and rider. The craftsmanship and care put into the design and material selection process is what sets Drew’s apart. Drew’s boots are made to last a lifetime--or two.
