You can enjoy the rich taste of umeboshi just by adding a small amount to dipping sauce or dressing, cold tofu, rice, and and rice balls. Ume purée can be served as an accompaniment to steak, fish dishes, and salads, and cheese making it a tasty appetiser to serve with wine. Can also be used for hot and cold cocktails and drinks.
Plum Vinegar - A tart, salty, festive condiment with beneficial organic acids. The ume plum vinegar is typically used as a seasoning and as an ingredient in Japanese cooking. You can use it to enliven salad dressings, marinades, pickles, vegetables, dips, and beverages. Organically grown red perilla is used to colour the plum vinegar that is produced when pickled in natural water salt.
