Pike Brothers 1943 Cpo Flannel - Tijuana Blue
Originally from the seafaring industry, CPO shirts have become very popular in the American outdoor sector because of their comfortable fit and universal applicability. After the 1940s the shirts were continued to be produced in the civilian sector with a wide variety of fabrics and various modifications.
Since original CPO shirts did not have slide-in pockets, this was a detail that was often found in civilian production. This immediately turns the shirt into a jacket and provides additional storage options. The Pike Brothers 1967 CPO shirts offer exactly this additional feature.
The waxed version use the Pike Brothers proven Jungle Cloth as the base fabric, which has been given an additional layer of wax inside and out. This gives the fabric and also the wearer very good protection against the elements.
