This is the super-stylish table clock version of Jasper Morrison's wall clock. It has the same dial design but housed on a stylish mount (which has something of an submarine periscope vibe to it).
In order to access the quartz mechanism that powers the clock the base section of the clock unscrews from the dial section. The quartz mechanism takes 1 x AA battery (not supplied).
You could use it on a desk or table. If you are intending to use it bedside it is worth noting that the hands and numerals of the clock contain no luminous material - ie it doesn't glow in the dark.
