Hanaduri Edge Travel Universe
Inspired by the shape of a cabinet, the Hanji Book Cabinet is designed resembling the cabinet which organizes records. The Cabinet is a tool that keeps someone’s records for a long time. In the Cabinet, anything can be recorded and stored: goals, ideas, sketches, etc.
Thisnotebook from Korean stationery manufacturers Hanaduri contains Hanji paper which is one of the most interesting and unusual papers we stock. Hanji, the name of traditional handmade paper of Korea, has been in use for over thousand years. Made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree, it has natural fibres called ‘Dak’, making it strong and durable, it does not tear easily. It is also pleasant to the eye and soft to the touch with a smooth texture.
Based on Hanji fibres and pulps, the surface of modernised Hanji has exquisite and delicate textures, providing a user with a unique experience to not only feel the Hanji paper tangibly, but also to get acquainted with the intangible cultural heritage of Korea.
