For the Sketch.inc for Lucie Kaas collection, the Danish designer Becky Kemp was inspired by the ancient Japanese "kokeshi" dolls, real works of art that tell stories of the past and tradition. Born from a single piece of precious wood, worked and painted by hand, the style of these dolls is unmistakable and demonstrates how with a few simple lines it is possible to create design objects with a great aesthetic impact.
