Golden Christmas ball in blown glass. This design by Marcello Jori is part of the project "Le Palle Presepe" which combines two great traditions, the nativity scene and Christmas tree decoration, producing a small but significant innovation. The nativity scene, created with Christmas balls depicting characters from the Christmas scene, can indeed create a new tree design, but they can also be placed anywhere else. The Christmas balls are hand-painted on a glass base with internal mirror to give the decoration an effect of luminosity and depth.
