This piece is part of the “FORM & FLORA” exhibition, where Teresa Rego explores the same aesthetic look through different painting techniques and supports. A look that crosses artistic movements such as Cubism, Matisse's Lyrical Abstractionism and the “memphis” group, in representations inspired by natural geometry and the fusion between abstract forms and forms present in nature.
Compositions that are based on the joining, interaction and overlapping of shapes until they are diluted in the drawing. In strong and contrasting colors that also contribute to the dissolution of the contours of the image, through abstraction.
