This Vintage Aquatic Print features three funky fish originating from Louis Renard's Fantastical Fish studies dating back to the 18th century. Renard was famous for his surrealist approach to scientific studies, depicting aquatic life through bold colours and graphics.
Famous for being the first encyclopedia of fishes illustrated in colour, this A3 artwork has been digitally enhanced for full detail and clarity, featuring three fishes ranging in different sizes, patterns and featuring original notes alongside the sketches.
