These large and flat baskets by Vannerie du Sahara, traditionally used as semolina serving plates, are woven by hand by women from the oasis in Sahara. Decorated with geometric patterns and coloured using dyed vegetal fibers, each basket is a unique and functional object. Displayed on your table as a fruit basket, or hanged to the wall, they embellish your home. In sedentary family from the Saharan oasis, they are often exhibited inside the house and during collective meals and give the women an opportunity to demonstrate their skills, taste and creativity to their visitors.
