One of the most well-liked accessories in the Hobonichi original collection is the Hobonichi Pencil Board. When placed under the page you're writing on, it reinforces and enhances your writing experience. It perfectly fits the size of the techo book and keeps your pen from slipping while also preventing indentations on the opposite page.

Bijutsukai and Shin Bijutsukai are collections of craft designs published in the Meiji era (1868–1912), both books containing beautiful designs by various designers and Japanese painters. We selected three craft designs from these collections published by Unsodo, a Kyoto-based art publishing company and the only publisher of hand-printed woodblock books in Japan, to create pencil boards.

The craft design for the A6 size captures the moment when seeds fall in small arcs. The contrast with the green leaves in the background is beautiful, and the diagonal lines, which look like sunlight, give the design a sense of sharpness.
