This Nina Spina fabric is a type of structured twill fabric. Serge means that the weave itself is already so tight that it already gives water-repellent and windproof properties. It is a durable and firm fabric often used for military purposes and for costumes. Typically, you see a diagonal rib weave from left to right as you go up. We've upgraded this fabric by bonding and laminating the reverse for absolute waterproofing and breathability. The outer twill fabric is additionally treated with a DWR coating for additional water repellency. Basically, we've created an almost indestructible fabric that will last for years.
