The wood for this collection comes from 100 to 150 year old wooden beams that were used for roof support in old Havelis. Havelis are traditional stone and wooden houses in India that were built for merchants and the upper class.
The beams are then sawn into planks. After gluing, they are sandblasted so that the natural grain of the teak wood emerges. Long planks are used for tables and scraps for the production of smaller items.
The products from this collection remain unfinished and acquire a natural patina over the years. You can stain or varnish the product according to your wishes.
