Sheepskin - Rare Breed - Medium

We stock sheepskins in both your bog standard white(ish) sheep and also in breeds that aren't this . . . and therefore fall into the rare breed category.

All of these rare breed sheepskins are different from one another but the one that you see in the photograph is the one that you will receive. The skins run the gamut of grey and honey coloured, to thick dark brown. They make an excellent surface to slide your feet onto as you get out of bed. The sizes of the sheepskins vary but we generally have both large and medium in stock.

Theoretically the sheepskins are machine washable on a wool wash but the problem with this is it is difficult to retain the fluffiness of the wool once it has been through this process. It is generally better to take the rugs outside and shake them in order to release any trapped residue. They can be vacuumed but you may need a spare pair of feet to keep the sheepskin on the floor and avoid it being pulled into your cleaner.
